This is a message sent to Twisted Finster Insiders newsletter subscribers this morning. I hope you like it.

Poundin Paul

You have undoubtedly heard that we should be thankful for what we have. I heard Omelette and Finster (and Kate) talking about it on the radio on the way to work this morning.

Since I am in the mood for giving thanks lately I thought I should share my take on the whole gratitude thing.

We all have things we are thankful for but I’ll bet it’s a short list.

Let me explain.

It’s easy to be thankful for your kids, your house, your job, your mate, your family…

But what about your jerk boss who didn’t give you the raise you deserve, or your asshole neighbor who never returned the chain saw?

Or the sister in law who owes you that $50 and never paid?

Or that girlfriend or spouse who dragged you through all ugly breakup or divorce?

How about that cop who gave you the ticket you didn’t deserve?

We all have a list of things in our lives that we call bad but it doesn’t have to be.

Since every experience has contributed to your advancement why not include it in your gratitude?

There is a different way you can look at it…
Be thankful for not getting that raise and being satisfied with your lousy job. Maybe you shouldn’t be in the job your in after all and getting that raise would have kept you from looking for a better one.

Be thankful because you are now more careful with your money and whom you loan it to.

Be thankful for your new insights in what you need in a relationship and what you it takes to make a good one.

Thank that cop for keeping you from getting in an accident because you were in too much of a hurry to pick the kids up at soccer practice. Now you are a more careful driver.

I know, it does sound difficult but it really does work.

And what about forgiveness?

All the things you call bad in your life really could be blessings in disguise, you just need to look for the good in the bad.

Being thankful for EVERYTHING focuses you on the positive things you want in life.

You just may find that focusing on the things you want instead of what you don’t want will…

Bring About More of What You Want In Life!

Crazy?

Maybe…

Well that’s enough said for now. Now for that gift I was talking about.

I read a short ebook that expands on what I was just telling you about.

It is perhaps the most useful thing I have read about gratitude and forgiveness. Go ahead and click on the link and save it to your computer, print it out and read it often.

It might just give you a small advantage and make a difference. It did for me…

It’s only 18 pages so you should be able to read it in a few minutes.
