You’re Invited to a Special Party
Hey
It’s Poundin Paul with a special invitation to a private event destined to become a Thanksgiving Tradition…
Let me explain.
Remember a month or so ago when I hinted at a possible party on Thanksgiving Eve?
You do? Good!
This party has been a tradition that started way back in the old days of Al Capone. It fizzled out over the years and then…
That tradition started up again in 1969, over 40 years ago! It became a tradition and again came to a screaching halt about 15 years ago!
Many have fond memories of the Thanksgiving Eve Party at the Fireplace Inn. I was talking to Jelloman Friday night and he remembers being there many times. But he can’t seem to remember exactly how he got home ;-o). . . I can relate!
Well, I am happy to tell you the “Celebration of Gratitude” is back!
Stay with me now!
Yesterday, I got confirmation from Molly (the owner) that I could send you, Twisted Finster Insiders, an invitation first. She even gave me special permission to offer you the best deal possible before offering it to the public.
Why?
She is doing it as a special favor to me because I helped her with some of the arrangements.
Especially the music part.
You do remember Band X from the party at Carpetmaster’s house don’t you?
That was the first time Twisted Finster appeared “incognito” as “Band X”.
Finster had such a good time because it was a non-KLT event! Finster even gave himself a new nickname, “Feedback!” (Some guy even called me Hammerin’ Paul ;-o)
It was fun because there was no pressure and no possibility of the boss coming down on him for “mis-representing” the radio station.
Finster liked it so much he wanted to do it again, but bigger. That’s when he heard about The Fireplace Inn, Thanksgiving Eve Tradition.
Be careful what you ask for, I always say!
So, Molly has arranged a private party for you at The Fireplace Inn. It is set for Wednesday, November 25, Thanksgiving Eve at 8:00PM to celebrate music, to give thanks and to feed hungry people.
Featuring music from Band X (and much more!)

That’s right, your very own, private, rock concert at The Fireplace Inn on Thansgiving Eve!
I know what you’re thinking.
“I didn’t think the Fireplace Inn was even open. Is it really? Should I go there?”
I know, I thought the same thing…
It’s true. The place has gone through a lot in the past 15 years or so, but not because of lack of interest or effort.
I can’t go into all of that right now but you can ask Molly and she’ll tell you the whole story, I promise!
The truth is… despite what you may have heard…
The Fireplace Inn has a rich history of awesome music and celebrations… Especially the Thanksving Eve, Celebration of Gratitude!
Plus, with all the negative news lately, why not give thanks for what we DO have?
Enough said? Good!
You might also be surprised that it is a members only party!
Wait a minute! Don’t go just yet. You don’t want to miss this part… so pay attention…
What does “members only” mean for you?
It means, in order to attend, you need to become a member of Molly’s UBU Club!
But don’t worry… It IS a formality, one with VERY BIG benefits… and…
the good news is you can become a member of The UBU Club online, right now, for less than you would spend for a lunch for two at the Happy Hog or House of Doggs.
Why be a member at all you say?
First, the UBU Club is a private club. And that means, because you are a member, you are permitted to bring your favorite beverages to this and future events with…
No Hassle, No Added Expense, No Hiding Your Bottle… NO SHIT?
Just like a private party at your friends house, but on a much larger scale, with live music and other cool stuff.
Imagine a private rock concert in a private place with your friends where you can enjoy your favorite beverage, food and more?
How much would that normally cost in the bars? $50-60, or $100 or more?
UBU Club Membership alone is going to save you money
$20-30 bucks in one night? Maybe more? Especially over time! You bet!
Second, you get a copy of The UBU Club Newsletter which gets you advanced notice of all future events and private invitations like this one.
Third, a lifetime membership (for pennies on the dollar) entitles you to attend future UBU Club sponsored events for a small cover charge (usually $5-10).
Plus, membership means you can even go to the Fireplace Inn and hang out with friends for just $5 almost anytime.
And you can get a regular membership and ticket for the party for just $10 or get the VIP treatment for $20 for a limited time.
Not too shabby eh?
Either way it’s a good deal you won’t find anywhere.
Now this deal at this price ain’t gonna last forever. That’s why you have to act now to take advantage of this offer.
What’s the hurry?
Because Molly wants to make a meaningful donation to the local food bank in time for Thanksgiving and also has to know in advance how many people to prepare for and to cover the deposit for the band.
She wants to do this Celebration of Gratitude right!
Got it? Good!
So go ahead and claim your membership now at:
(You may want to grab a VIP membership and get the VIP Treatment, I did ;-o)
And stay tuned… I’ll tell you some more stuff about the celebration and who has signed up so far (will it be you?)
Rock on and see you at the Celebration!
